Choose your bidding system when you join

Bridge Unlocked teaches two bidding systems, properly, as separate complete paths: ACOL, and Strong No-Trump with 5-card majors. When you join, you choose the one to start in.

  1. Create your account and the joining questions begin (see Create your free account).

  2. At the bidding-system step, read the two options. In short: ACOL is what most clubs in Ireland and the UK play; Strong No-Trump with 5-card majors is standard in most online games and much of the rest of the world.

  3. Not sure? Open the 30-second comparison on the same screen. It lays the difference out plainly, with no jargon.

Changing later is safe. Progress in each system is kept separately, so nothing is ever overwritten or lost: see Switch your bidding system in Settings.
