Make the text bigger and other comfort settings

Bridge Unlocked already uses large, readable text, and it respects your device’s own comfort settings. Here’s how to turn those up, device by device.

On a Windows or Mac computer.

  1. Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and press + to make everything bigger. Press it again to go bigger still.

  2. Went too far? Ctrl or Cmd and - shrinks it, and Ctrl or Cmd and 0 puts it back to normal.

On an iPhone or iPad.

  1. Open your device’s Settings app, then Display & Brightness, then Text Size.

  2. Drag the slider until reading feels easy. The app follows your device’s text size.

On an Android phone or tablet.

  1. Open your device’s Settings app, then Display, then Font size (the wording varies a little by maker).

  2. Choose a larger size. The app follows it.

Calmer motion.

  1. If animation bothers you, turn on your device’s reduced-motion setting: on an iPhone or iPad under Accessibility and Motion; on Android under Accessibility; on Windows under Accessibility and Visual effects.

  2. Bridge Unlocked honours it automatically: transitions settle down everywhere, and nothing in the app ever flashes or rushes you anyway.

Sound.

  1. The app’s sounds have one switch. Open Settings in the app and use the sound toggle to turn them off or on. Nothing else changes.
